Enterprise Task One: Who am I - Who are they?

What skills do I have?
  • Ability to reach out to other artists in different art establishments.
  • Multi-Discipline.
  • Idea's development.
  • Multitude of interests, within and outside of art.
Who needs them?
  • Artists & Students in need of advertisement.
  • Creative people who need inspiration.
  • People who want to voice their feeling on a matter creatively.
What are your professional / creative aims; and how do they relate to the world?
  • To be a multi-diciplinary artists, who collaborates and works worldwide.
  • Causing no room for boredom.
  • To spread the idea that creativity and art should be something for everybody.
  • To voice my own, and public opinions on happenings in society.
  • To hold individual & multiple artist exhibitions.
This relates by; working with multiple disciplines, allowing networking to many artists in many fields; which would then help me link other artists in the correct directions.

The Four P's

Product
  • Networking
  • Multi-disciplinary.
  • Ideas/Director-al.
Place
  • Preliminary; Leeds is very central to many creative clusters, whilst also havings its own. Creative networks around Leeds include; Newcastle, Manchester, York & Teesside.
  • Utilize the contacts which I already have in these areas to eventually develop global links.
Price
  • I believe that because of my ethics, my services should be free; and that I would find revenue in relation to the service, but not directly.
Promotion
  • Direct marketing through contacts (Word of mouth).
  • Distribution of adverts through college & university VLE's and blackboard systems.
  • Social networking; Blogs, You-tube, Twitter etc.

Through this task, I have established that I want my business to be one which allows for collaboration with other artists, causes me to travel and also helps to inspire young creative.
A major part of the business, is that I want my services to be free, due to my belief that art and creativity should be free to all. The problem then occurs that until I find a method of making money ethically from this, then the business cannot be my sole project, and it will therefore be run part-time alongside another part-time job.
